Each Leather is Unique. When we talk about the type of leather used for shoes, most of the time we're referring to the finish in leather footwear. In other words, the processes through which the previously tanned leather goes to achieve a specific type of final texture. This means that two shoes made from the same piece of cowhide leather, for example, can be completely different to look at and touch, despite being made from the same material.

What's the last? There's a saying in Spanish, "ha encontrado la horma de su zapato", which uses the idea of the perfect shoe last to say that someone has met their perfect match. Well, that's what we'll be talking about in today's post, about the perfect lasts for our shoes.

Shoe care. It's important to clean and moisturize the leather of your Pikolinos properly so they keep the same shine and authenticity as when they were brand new. If your shoes have laces, remove them so you can clean every single nook and cranny. Remove excess dirt with a slightly damp cloth, let it dry and apply the cream all over the shoe with the applicator or a small sponge. Once dry, rub the shoe gently with a clean, dry cloth to brighten up the color. Finally, apply a layer of natural beeswax to give the leather a deep shine and help keep your shoes looking as good as new. Next, replace the laces if necessary and store them by inserting either a shoe tree or the paper you'll find inside the shoe box, so they retain their original shape and stay looking like new.
